Many people in the United States believe that we can become the innovators of the world, and China will go ahead and make everything
that we design. The Canadians also have an interesting theory on that, they want to make all their workers "knowledge workers" and let all the manufacturing jobs
go to China. This way Canada and the United States hope to keep the high-paying jobs here, and allow the low-paid jobs to go to China where they make
everything.
That is one of the most naïve things I've ever heard in my entire life, and all the university professors, and know-it-a-all economists that came
up with this scheme are clearly in my opinion "nuts" if they believe that. Okay, that was probably too harsh, but I believe they are living in "La La Land" if they really
believe this.
You see, the Chinese have a number of spies in both the US and Canada, and they are extremely good imitators, copiers, and decent at
industrial espionage. From some of the declassified CIA papers, and some of the things I've heard at seminars on business intelligence, it has been estimated that
there are no fewer than 6000 spies from China and the United States right now.
They are busy gathering up information, and they've already announced that
they want to build their own Airliners to compete with Boeing, and they actually have already produced one of their own now, and although it's a small airliner, it's still
an airliner, and that's a start.
China also wants our general aviation industry, and several other industries, including automotive. Now, some folks say that
China lacks innovative thinking amongst their population, but they seem to be pretty sneaky and innovative as they borrow all of our technology, and many of the
concepts.
Further, in observing many of the designs that their University Students are coming out with, well, they look pretty innovative to me. Anyone that
thinks that the Chinese cannot become great entrepreneurs, or innovators is crazy; they already are, wake up.
